Ceremonies remembered for a lifetime, honored in the words of those who lived them. These are the families who trusted Bharadhwaj to guide their most sacred moments.

Pundit Bharadhwaj “Brad” truly made our Black-Hindu fusion wedding special. Last July, we tied the knot with a full Hindu ceremony, including the Grahshanthi and Milni, and he explained each ritual so clearly that everyone could follow along. His talent for translating complex traditions into something accessible and meaningful gave both families a real sense of connection and understanding on the day. I highly recommend him for any wedding, especially one blending traditions.

We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Bharadhwaj and our experience with him. From the very beginning, he somehow managed to feel like both our priest and our friend, and that made such an important part of our wedding even more special.
One of the things we appreciated most about Bharadhwaj was how modern, thoughtful, and relatable his approach is. It was really important to us that we actually understood the meaning behind the traditions we were participating in rather than simply going through the motions. He has an incredible ability to take traditional Hindu customs and explain and reframe them in a way that feels relevant to marriage and relationships today, while still honoring the meaning and beauty behind them. So much of what he taught us genuinely resonated with our own beliefs and made us feel so much more connected to our ceremony.
He also truly listened to us. Bharadhwaj took the time to understand what mattered to us as a couple and made sure our ceremony reflected that. Whenever we wanted to meet beforehand, walk through a ritual, or better understand the meaning behind something, he never hesitated to make the time for us. Because of that, we went into our wedding day actually understanding what we were doing and why we were doing it, which made everything so much more meaningful.
During the ceremony itself, he was incredible. He is engaging, funny, warm, and has such a natural ability to connect with a crowd. He kept everyone involved and made the ceremony feel like it flew by. After our wedding, we had SO many guests tell us how much they loved him. One of the best things we heard over and over again was that, for the first time, they actually understood a Hindu wedding ceremony and the meaning behind the different traditions. We heard that from both Hindu and non-Hindu guests, which speaks so much to Bharadhwaj’s ability to make everyone feel included and connected to what was happening.
By the time our wedding arrived, it genuinely felt like we weren’t just being married by an incredible priest, but by someone we had become friends with along the way. That is something we will always cherish. His warmth, humor, patience, personality, and genuine care for the couples he works with are so special.
We could not recommend Bharadhwaj more highly. If you are looking for someone who will honor Hindu traditions while also making them understandable, relevant, personal, and meaningful to your relationship, he is truly the person you want. He was such a special part of not only our wedding day, but the entire experience leading up to it, and we will always be grateful that he was the person who married us. We truly could not have asked for anyone better. ❤️

We had a wonderful experience with Bharadwaj for our Chinese-Indian fusion engagement ceremony. He was incredibly warm, thoughtful, and went out of his way to personalize the ceremony to fit our unique families and traditions.
What stood out to us and really touched our hearts was the personalised care he took to make sure my in-laws and fiance understood our traditions. He explained it to them in a way that made sense to them, used analogies and engaged them. At several points, he paused to explain the rituals, their meaning, and what was happening. Also, we had a very strict timeline because my in-laws and friends had a flight to catch so he built in extra buffer time to ensure that even if the ceremony got delayed, we’d still be able to complete everything on time. Things were chaotic but his calm, reassuring presence and patience really set the stage for our engagement. He did such a good job in fact that my in-laws asked if he could do the ritual wedding ceremony too!
Overall his attentively, patience and friendliness highlighted our day and made it very special! Would highly highly recommend!

Bharadhwaj Brad Shivoham did an amazing job as an officiant at our wedding ceremony! Our ceremony was particularly complex because it combined Tamil and Malayalam traditions and Bharadwaj navigated these challenges adeptly! He kept in contact with both of our families and designed a beautiful sequence of steps from start to finish that we will always cherish. He showed deep proficiency in all ceremonial aspects and also made it incredibly enjoyable for those involved and the guests. He did a great job of balancing explanations and keeping guests engaged throughout. The ceremony and our wedding would not be the same without Bharadwaj and we are so happy we chose him as our officiant. We highly recommend him to anyone considering working with him!

Bharadhwaj Brad Sivoham is a young Veda Vidwan who received formal Vedic education at the Kanchi Shankara Mutt, served in the same field for a few years, and has been residing in the United States for the past eight years. He is Modern Vedic Coach, Yoga Scholar and Officiant. We had travelled from Chennai to the United States specifically for our father’s Sathabhishekam. He conducted the entire ceremony magnificently and grandly, ensuring that every Shastra and Sampradaya was followed without the slightest compromise. His patience, wisdom, and composure at such a young age are truly remarkable and inspiring. Heartiest congratulations and best wishes!

Although so much time is spent on decoration, food, and clothing for a multi-day, elaborate Hindu wedding, the real reason for the celebration is the wedding. For an event that special and meaningful, the person who performs it is at the core of the very purpose of the entire event, and there is no better than Bharadhwaj. He performed my son‘s wedding in August 2026, and as I myself am not Indian but have been married into and around Indian culture for nearly 40 years, it was important to me that we choose someone who would not only stay true to the Hindu ceremonies and rituals required for the wedding but would also be engaging and able to sustain the interest of people who are not Hindu and who are not Indian. It takes a rare person to be able to balance those things, but we absolutely found that here. Bharadhwaj has the youth and charisma necessary to engage his audience, but he also is very educated and learned in the steps necessary to conduct a pure Hindu ceremony. There is absolutely no one else that I would have wanted to conduct my son‘s wedding, and when and if either of my other two children get married and choose to have a Hindu ceremony, he will absolutely be top of our list. Bharadhwaj, thank you so much for contributing to our special weekend and such a meaningful and touching way!
