Bharadhwaj Shivoham

Modern Vedic Priest • Wedding Officiant • Vedic Scholar • Yoga Educator

Based in St. Louis, Missouri, I serve families, temples, and communities across the United States and internationally, bringing together the timeless wisdom of the Vedas with the values of the modern world.

I am widely sought after to officiate luxury destination weddings for couples who desire a ceremony that is sacred, elegant, and deeply meaningful. Fluent in English and Sanskrit, I create immersive wedding experiences that resonate with today’s generation while preserving the authenticity of Vedic tradition. My ceremonies are heartfelt, engaging, and personalized—making every guest feel connected to the spiritual significance of the rituals.

As a modern Vedic priest, I believe that tradition evolves through understanding, not by compromising its essence. I embrace equality, mutual respect, and inclusivity, believing that men and women are equal partners in every sacred journey. I respectfully challenge outdated stereotypes while remaining uncompromising in the authenticity and sanctity of Vedic rituals.

Beyond weddings, I am honored to be entrusted with some of the most significant Vedic ceremonies across the United States, including Temple Consecrations (Kumbhabhishekam/Prāṇa Pratiṣṭhā), Rudra Ekādaśinī Mahā Yajñas, Śānti Homams, Chandi Homam, Ati Rudram, Maha Rudram, and all Ṣoḍaśa Saṁskāras (the Sixteen Sacred Rites of Passage)—from birth and initiation to marriage and ancestral rites.

My work extends beyond officiating rituals. I am currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Yoga, deepening my understanding of the scientific, therapeutic, philosophical, and spiritual dimensions of yogic traditions. As a Vedic scholar, yoga educator, researcher, and lifelong student of the Vedas and Vedānta, I am committed to preserving Sanātana Dharma while making its timeless wisdom accessible, relevant, and meaningful for contemporary life.

Whether I am consecrating a temple, solemnizing a wedding overlooking the ocean, conducting an elaborate Vedic yajña, teaching yoga, or guiding a family through life’s sacred milestones, my mission remains the same—to perform every ritual with authenticity, devotion, precision, compassion, and excellence.

My vision is to inspire a new generation to embrace Sanātana Dharma—not merely as a tradition to be inherited, but as a living philosophy to be understood, experienced, and celebrated.

Ancient Wisdom. Modern Perspective. Timeless Traditions.
